12-18-2014 Poetry

Masochistic Heart

Cottony cuddles and a sweet cashmere caress
Sensations stirring around until they coalesce.
Rose petals and baby’s breath
when your fingers trail my flesh;
Delicate.

The sharp and piercing sear, a true gift from his fangs
Causing a backward motion to rattle my chains.
Blood red streaks offer up a feast;
Complements stark white of the teeth
Of my beast.

Dancing to the rhythm of the cane; rising welts,
Sensations so pure I cannot keep to myself.
The more he works, louder my cries
Yet silenced when met by his eyes
Into sighs.

Biting back glorious words so wet on my tongue,
An incoherent chorus that cannot be sung.
The more heat made, more I shiver.
Praise down my leg runs his river;
Delivered.

So soft his voice now I lean close to hear his breath;
One word he spoke, one syllable, carried such depth.
Tonight there's one thing he had shown;
Spoke so perfect, calling me "owned"
In a moan.

Then in a heartbeat he orchestrated sorrow;
Sensations so painful id still hurt tomorrow.
Not with a cane nor by his whips,
But by the words crossing his lips;
My tears slip.

The waves of his own pain crashed into my body;
Darkness in pitches that clouded me out oddly.
Struggling to heal all his wounds
Only but pushed me out of the room
Way too soon.

Cottony embraces leave us prickly warm.
Our emotions twirling in the eye of the storm.
Blood red against the pure, soft white;
A blanket I cling to tonight
In my fright.

Dancing with such sorrow I can never unfeel;
Sensations so raw I know they'll never heal.
The more we hurt, louder my cries.
I am swallowed up by his eyes;
Can't survive.

So soft his voice now I lean close to hear him speak;
One word he said, one syllable, made me fel weak.
Tonight, too vulnerable to sleep,
In confusion I lay and weep;
I'm too deep.

The sharp and piercing sear on my soul from his fangs
Causing me to fall deeper into all of this pain.
Soft rose petals and baby's breath,
To look pretty when nothing's left
Of what I kept.
